oil dipstick
I took mine back to dealership for fuel in oil when the tech pulled the dipstick the handle came disconnected from the wire portion so they ordered me a new one when it came in it was grey it is a little esier to read than the black one same part number as the old one just luck of the draw
No, I didn't pay for it. It was warranteed.
I pulled on the T handle and it came off. The rest of the dipstick stayed right there sticking up about 1/8" above the tube and I pulled it out with a pair of long nose pliers. I ddn't want to leave it there and run the risk of it sliding down into the crancase.
As far as the tow/haul mode with the latest flash, I understand that in top two gears the torque converter is no locked in tow/haul mode until you touch the brake. Once you touch the brake, it will lock the torque converter and use the engine. I don't know how long the torque converter stays locked after you let off the brake. One of the techs over at http://flatratetech.com/6literpowers...ultimatebb.cgi is tracking that issue.
I have the part number at home. I will post it this evening.
