What engine?

Any one know what size v8 a 92 Mark III van might have? Going to look at one tomorrow. I think a 5.ol is the same as a 302, only one I have a guess about. TIA.

If it's a V-8, I'd say 302(5l) or 351(5.7l).

It probably has either a 5.0L 302CID or a 5.8L 351CID. It could also have a 4.9L 300CID I6, but you said V8.

Look at the Emisssions sticker under/on the hood.

In the bottom box, it will list the engine size in the lower box,
along with some spark plug info.

Also the 10th Vin digit indicates engine size.

N -- 5.0 V8
H -- 5.8 V8 preferred choice
Y -- 4.9 I6

Would you prefer 5.752Liters for 351 cu in and 4.949Liters for a 302 cu in ?

No, your advice would have confused him. unde the hood it's going to say 4.9 (300ci I6), 5.0 (302ci V8) or 5.8 (351ci v8). It will not be labeled as a 5.7.
