Am I supposed to use sealant or not use sealant on my felpro head gasket? I'm getting confused cuz the haynes manual and the tip sheet with the gaskets say opposite. And also, how can I tell which head bolts go into water passages, and which dont?
Originally posted by murder4hire But there are no instructions that show which ones go into water passages and which ones dont, so how can I check?
I'm not sure why this would matter so long as a bolt of the proper length is installed. Are you somehow thinking about trying to seal threads? Please expand.
Well, I was gonna seal the threads, thats what it said I should do. I mean, if I dont have to, I wont, but It hought I'd do everything it says so I dont have any more trouble after I put it all back together.
