I got a set of Rhino ramps. They are made out of plastic which made me go hmmmmn, but they are rated at 8000 pounds. They work much better then a metal set I have. They have feet that don't slid and the angle of the ramp is better. They were on sale at Pep Boys for $18.
Yea I picked some up about a month ago, for about 17 bucks on sale too. I love them, I can pull the truck up on them bye myself. With metal, ones you would always have to have some body put there foot on the front to keep them from sliding.
Well, my bronco is stock, but my brother also uses them for his ranger, and other car projecs.
but hey, that extra 8" or so really helps unless you have a 4" lift or so.
Sorry to hear about the unemployment. A buddy of mine has a pit in the floor of his shop. A lot cheeper that a lift maybe not quite as nice in every situation but beats laying on your back.
