88 f150 temp sensor not working?

What connector, and what temp sensor? The one for the guage? I didn't know you were supposed to have voltage there. I'd check for continuity between the sender and the instrument cluster, or the sensor and the computer depending on which one it is.

I'm assuming this is for the guage in the dash. Take a small screw or something and short the wire to ground. Go turn the key to run, and if the guage pegs to hot, then the wiring should be good (don't leave it on longer than necessary, you can damage the guage). The sender for the guage has one wire going to it, the sensor for the computer has two.
