gauge sensor placement

I just picked up a 3 pod pillar gauge with egt trans temp and boost. Directions arent really that clear on egt sensor placement so I am looking for feed back on that first and the trans temp sensor/test port location on my 99 f350 7.3l.

EGT sensor usually goes in driver side manifold pretty much where it is easy to get at with a drill from below. Trans sensor should go in the bung on the driver side, above the pan in a bung on the side. Check out the many install instructions on RiffRaff.

My preference is similar to Tugly's but lower down on the bottom of the drivers side manifold. It helps when you are drilling for the filings to fall to a low point.
