I've come across a great deal on a set of 15x10 wheels but issue is I don't want them just laying around as I save up for bigger tires. I'm going to be running 31-10.50/15's which are currently mounted on a set of 15x8's. Would there be anything issues with me putting the 10.50's on a 10" wheel? The wheel sounds a little too wide to me, but i don't want to pass the wheels up. . .
In my opinion, 10" wheels are too wide for a 10.5" wide tire. If the wheels are that good of a deal, buy'em or you'll be kickin' yourself for letting them go.
10" width is out of the specs for most 31X10.5. There are some 31x11.5 tires out there that will work on 10" rims. 32x11.50 works well on 10" and you can get good backspacing with the right rim.
a 31 10.50 15 will fit a 7.0-9.0 " rim
I agree with Ford79 if you like the style of rims and the are cheep buy them. You can always swap them or resell them.
If you need to store them stck them in two' throw a piece of ply wooo on then cover with a table cloth and presto end tables, great for setting your beer on.
