i have a 1995 ford f150 with a wishbone front end and im looking to lift it but cant really find any lifts under a grand i have 31/10.50/15 on it now and it rides fine but have a set of 35's i would like to put under and need some suggestions.
Rough Country and Tough Country have some good quality lifts that are fairly low cost. If by wishbone you mean you have a 4x4 with a TTB front end, you won't want to put 35" tires on it if you plan to leave the road. The Dana 44 TTB isn't tough enough to withstand much larger than 33" tires.
You will also want to take your gear ratio into consideration. If you have a 302 with a gear ratio less than 3.55, you need a regear. If you have a 351w or 300 you can probably get by with 3.55 but may want to go to 3.73.
With that said, with a leveling kit, and a bumper trim, you can fit 33" tires on one of these trucks.
Try to stay away from the drop bracket kits if finances allow. Those drop brackets add way too much leverage to the crossmember they are bolted to, resulting in cracks. Those cracks make it impossible to keep the brackets tight once they get bad enough
Jeffs Bronco Graveyard has some really nice riding coils for about the same price as the stiff coils that come in most other kits.
My old man had a really nice black 96 f150 xlt regular cab short bed 4x4, lifted 6 inches with 35's on the factory alloys and it looked really sharp. It drove good on the street, he never really did serious offroading with it but did take it down a few muddy trails around town and blasted through some pretty deep snow. With the 6 inch lift it looked good with the 35's. They weren't stuffed into the wheel wells like crazy but it wasn't so tall that it looked goofy. I'd post a picture but I don't have any digital ones and I don't have a scanner.

Last I checked pretty much all lift kits 4" or larger have to have drop brackets for the TTB. Unless you were meaning extended radius arms or a SAS you are pretty much stuck with drop brackets for the TTB.

Quality lifts use cut and turned axle beams rather then drop brackets for the factory beams. That means no cracked crossmembers and much more clearance between the knuckles

I've been daily driving my lifted Bronco on 35's for the passed 2 years now and don't have any issues with it and it's definitely not a mall crawler. It's seen it's fair share of rocky trails and mud holes.
