brake lines????????
I have a 1980 Bronco 4x4 351. I replaced the master cylinder and the front calipers. of course the front part of the master cylinder brake line broke off. the problem is that this is a 1/4" brake line with a 7/16" fitting going into a rubber tube and on the other end is a 3/16" brake line with a 1/2" fitting. why in the hell is this so comlicated and how can I either rig something or get the right part. Ford and parts stores do not carry this combination!

I'm not sure about where you're at, but the local Napa here can custom make brake lines. Just check around your area at any of the parts stores and they should be able to tell you where they can be made. Shops that specialize in big rigs normally can do the work also.
