Master cylinder/brake line question

Does anybody know if these trucks have metric bubble flares on the master cylinder end of the stock brake lines?

Also does anyone know what size adapter I need for the front port on the master cylinder so I can just use a standard 3/16" flare fitting there?

Take the line off and measure the diameter and thread pitch.
use a bolt gage and then check the pitch with a pitch gage.
SEARS sells both of these.

Uh. Yeah, I know I can find out what it is if I take the fitting out. The whole point of me asking is to find out what it is WITHOUT taking the fitting out.

too many different ones were used to say for sure what one you have.

i do not think they are metric.

only way i do them is to take them out and match them.

Like quicklook said too many were used. You'll have to MEASURE.

They are not bubble flares, just a regular flare. I am not sure what size adapter you'd need, when I did my lines I re-used the nut from the old line.

To find out what adapter you need without having to measure, maybe your local parts store (I've found NAPA's to be very well stocked for adapters) will have a master in stock. If they do, you could always ask them to get you an adapter that fits the master and a standard 3/16 line.
