spark plug socket size? carb jet?

spark plug socket size? carb jet?
dumb question probably, but for a '63 390 what size plug socket do I need to pick up?
Forgot to check before I left the house...
Also, can I re-jet the carb while the carb is on the motor.. in the engine bay, or does the carb have to come off?
Oh, stock 2100 carb.

You need a 13/16 sparkplug socket.
Yes you can rejet a 2100 carburetor while in the engine bay. Remove the top cover screws including the threaded rod that sticks up in the center that is used to hold the air breather on and remove the screw holding the choke linkage on the air horn. The gasket may tear when taking the top off of the carburetor so you may need to replace it. The jets are straight down in the bottom of the fuel bowl and a wide flat blade screwdriver will work to remove and install them. If the fuel bowl looks dirty then it would be a good idea to clean and freshen the carburetor up with a kit.
