Max front springs do come standard with the diesel option. The diesel engine is a lot heavier than the gas.

The camper package does NOT come with any kind of special rear blocks. All it consists of is higher-rated front springs, a rear "overload" spring, a rear anti-sway bar and most importantly, a camper certification slip. Although, it sounds like the extra rear spring is now standard equipment on all SD.
But, to answer your question (kind of), the rear block size is roughly 2" for F250s and 4" for F350s. The blocks can be interchanged if you want to raise/lower the rear of your truck. :-)
We seem to be getting some options confused. The snowplow pkg is not the same as the max FAWR package. The snowplow pkg comes with springs rated at 6000 lbs. The max FAWR pkg comes with springs rated at 5200 lbs. I don't know if all diesel-powered trucks come with the 5200 lbs springs, but I know for sure that they don't come with the 6000 lb snowplow pkg springs.

Hey NoMo.....I got the sway bar from Summit. Looks nice....heavy duty. Now if I only had the trk You didn't have to drill the frame for the mounting plate did you, or are there a set of holes in the right location. Thanks
My father and I each have 2001 SD's. Mine's a 350, his a 250.
I thought the camper pkg was responsible for the higher blocks, but NoMo might be right, because his is a 3/4, and mines a one ton.
For 1999, the F-350 4x4 had a Trailer Tow Package (531) option and a Camper Package (532) option. It looks like they both had a front stabilizer bar, but the Camper Package added a rear stabilizer bar and 'Aux rear springs'.
I am wondering how hard it would be (for an experienced do-it-yourselfer) and how much it would cost to add the rear stab bar and aux rear springs to an F-350 with the Trailer Tow Package.
Are the aftermarket (e.g. Hellwig) bars better/cheaper than OEM?
