got my 2003 f350 in. ordered it with a off road package. got a FX4 package now. has cool rancho shocks with the red boots on them., shocks are white with red letters. was happy to see something other than just a decal and a skid plate for my $. other than that don't see any other changes.
Out of curiosity when did you put in you order? It's been two months now and I still haven't gotten a build date. I am starting to think that the dealership didn't put in my order until I reminded them about three weeks later.
I ordered on May 20th, got a build date of July 15th, the truck was released on July 22nd, and shipped "via rail car" on July 23rd.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Jul-02 AT 08:51 AM (EST)]Just checked the VOPC.
"As of July 28th your vehicle is at the ramp".
Hopefully I'll be getting a call in a few days. The "ramp" (railhead) is in Sun City AZ so I guess now they have to load it onto a car carrier and deliver it 20 miles to Tempe AZ...getting closer!
i ordered it on the dealerships pilot order for the 2003 models. get a new one every two years and i get the first one that hits the lot. so the first 2003 superduty to hit the lot was thrusday the 25 at about 4:30. so they are just starting to roll in so be patient it will be worth the wait. the 2003 has the 525 ft lb engine and my 2001 had the 520 ft lb engine. i thought big deal 5 ft lb right? never feel it right? WRONG, feels like it accelerates alot better. still have to get the gooseneck ball put in, then we will really see if it runs better.

How did you work that deal out? I don't get to see the power gain that you do, I opted for the V-10. This truck will probably never hual anything so I figured that the 5k savings would better suit my needs as headers, exhuast, and a chip.
