Both leads have ring terminals on both ends. You can just take them off for safe keeping. You will have to reattach the blue wire on the solenoid end of the hot wire to prevent setting a code.
today i tried my best to get my EGT's as high as eveyone else running with the predator
I put it on 60hp and i couldnt get over 1050 deg. from a dead stop to 80mph
tried several times but just couldnt get the temps
80mph @ about 2250 rpm 1050 deg.
not2litl, have you pulled anything yet? EGT's sound good but put a 36' Sundowner w/living quarters, full 40 gallon water tank, 2 horses and a bunch of tack, then see what they are. That's why I put the 40 hp. chip back in!
horsecop the only thing i have pulled is my 38' TT but not for extended periods of time....but I am sure the EGT's would rise under a load like that....I was trying to simulate nhancock dilemma so I could post my findings.....
You guys worry too much. I've seen the pyro go around as fast as the tachometer. It stops at 1650 and it's been there many times since 1999.
