Software update - Read me.
You guys are much younger than I am. I started with DOS3.3 and went right to Girlfriend 5.0. I later upgraded to Wife 1.0 and suffered all the ailments you guys are now experiencing. After I finally got all the bugs worked out, we added Kid 1.0 (and others) and started with the Workweekends 6.2a. Now Kid 1.0 has downloaded a terrible virus called Son-of-a-law 1.0 beta. Of course that damn thing doesn't work half the time and has is always around the house playing with Daughter 1.0. He scored a free game on Daughter 1.0 and nine months later we got Grandson 1.0. This is a cute little thing, fun to play, but we haven't figured out what it's supposed to do. Son 6.5 said Grandson 1.0 must be a paper shreader or something because it tried to eat the math hardcopy from Son 6.5, second oldest Daughter 3.6 said Grandson 1.0 is definately a Blender 1.0 because it takes perfectly good smelling food and converts it into something that sours a wiping cloth from 60 feet away.
While they all try to straighten out this mess, I'm headed to the library and read about Quiet 9.9, as I (don't) hear it's a wonderful thing.
