Hi can some one tell me which hose goes on the top of the heater core?? does it make a difference if they get reversed???
still no heat and freezing to death please help!!

Top hose is the supply hose and the bottom is the return line. If reversed they should still provide adequate heat.

 

did you check your thermastat? what size engine do you have?, miles? i have a 91 4.0 with 192 thou miles. i have changed thermastats 3 times, but i have heat this winter rick

We finally have heat and all is good I'm so happy my hubby isn't freezing anymore THANK YOU!!!!!!!

p.s. the problem was with the new heater core hubby saudered it and cleaned it out and it works great now ....
