Right turn stalls
Just changed the tranny fluid and filter, new plugs and ditrb. and rotor (13,000 miles ago, usually last till 20k). I run fuel injector cleaners every oil change.
I searched the archives a bit, but got tired and didn't see my problem(s).
(A). Every time, I make a right turn, sometimes from a stop, but mostly on the running right, the engine will surge a bit (like it's starving for fuel), but kicks eight back in once I can straighten up, not that I'm on a two-wheel turn and leaned over, just a regular right hand turn.
(B). I'm not sure if this is related: after the engine gets hot and stills for a while (10-15 minutes, maybe 45 minutes), the engine is hard to start (like it's vapor locking). OR, the engine starts, but I need to really pump on the gas to keep it from stalling out.
Yes, the fuel injectors are original.
Looking forward to hoping we can figure this out.
As to the right hand stall, the one thing that comes to mind would be a problem with fuel cutoff inertia switch. This is located behind the passenger side kick panel. You might try tripping and re-setting the switch several times to see if this alleviates the problem. You could also jumper around the switch to definitely rule it out as a problem source.
The 'hot/no start' issue has come up before and if memory serves, the problem was traced back to a failing fuel pump, although I cannot locate the reference on this either. Perhaps others will recall that issue and provide additional information.

I put on about 30-35K a year between business (deliveries) and pleasure. I think doing the oil changes on a regular basis helps, tranny fluids, etc.
I had the fuel pump replaced about 2 yrs. ago, so that could put me at about 60-70K on the borg-warner unit.
I'll definitely check out your suggestions and post any findings.
