do a compression test even if your not burning alot of oil it doesnt mean that the compression is up were it should be. also you may be giving up 2-3 mpg with the tires and body lift. a Gear change would not be a bad idea with the size of the tires your running it would give you back alot of power 4:11 gears might fit the bill so your not lugging the engine at 55 mph.

Recently purchased super clean (very picky older gentleman-no kids owned it) 94 ext. cab, 302 gets about 13-14 mpg. Only mods so far is the K&N I took out of my dead 92. I intend to do the cap/rotor/plugs/wires this spring and I expect it to go up 1-2 mpg.

i have a 92 f150 xlt 4x4 with a 351w with true duals and i used to get pretty good gas mileage considering everything. probably around 14 or so.

lately ive been getting really bad mileage around 9-10mpg. i dont know why either.
