Backlash adjustment
I have a 93 Bronco with an 8.8 differential and I need to know if the ring gear backlash is adjustable?

You get different backlash reading's by shimming the gears differently.

If you are not familiar with how to set the backlash it is best to leave it to a pro. If not set correctly you will not have a rear end for long.
