Under rear bench storage

Under rear bench storage
Was looking at mounting a small tool box and safety triangle box under the rear bench seat in my 04 SuperDuty - cant find any obvious place to drill screw holes into - suggestions?
Just dont want to go drilling into wires or anything else under the carpet.

There really shouldn't be anything under the carpet there, but if in doubt you can always pull the carpet up and check, it's not hard. For a really easy install just check nder the body to make sure you won't hit anything then just use self tapping screws. Skips a step and the nice ones are just as solid as thru bolting it for your application. good luck

Make shallow wooden boxes with notched corners to hold the boxes from moving, and that fit around the metal seat support. They work great, and no drilling or permanently damaging the carpet or floor pan.
