01 Suzuki DRZ 250 you cant beat it full time lights electric start and if you fire it up at night youll wake up the neighborhood because I put a Yoshimura pipe on it. its a good woods bike its just a little heavy
I ride a '93 RM250 that hasn't seen anything other than a sand paddle for twy seasons and a Banshee thats as tembermental as any two women I have ever known. I wanted to get a new CRF450R to retire the RM for this season but it just wasn't in the cards financially right now, oh well there's always next season.
By the way is there anyone out there who rides at either St. Anthony's Idaho or Sand Mountain Utah?
my first bike was a 1968 indian enduro 125, i was 13 or 14 and i rode that bike everywhere. it finnaly died on me when i locked the throttle cable and instead of turning it off i tried to use the brake, pretty much stripped out the drive gear and wrapped up to about 1 million rpms, i was so scared i dropped it and ran, instead of turning it off lol. well she locked up pretty bad. i have had several since then if not dozens, i raced hare and hound for years in minnesota and california, have broken 13 differnt bones during that time, i have ridden harleys thru the mountians of california, and ridden all the way accross the usa, i still play in the dirt with a suzuki sp600, four years ago i jumped flint creek here in iowa which is about 65 feet, and a month later i jumped 107 feet where two levys come togather, that one worried me a little since the levys were already 16 feet high, i thought i was going into orbit when i hit that. i cracked the frame in 2 places when i landed. i have dumped bikes when being cut off from cars, got hit by a branch falling off a tree while doing about 70, still have that scar above my eye, and the worst i was stung by a hornet in the NADS while riding on a warm sunny day only wearing thin loose fitting shorts, After all that i have been thru and done on motorcycles, i still love the feeling of climbing on a being in the wind as much as iowa weather lets me.
Just an '82 Yamaha Virago 750 for now. Was planning on buying a new bike in the next year or so, but the new truck kinda changed my plans a little bit.

120,000 miles on BMW's befor I hung up my spurs on an inside curve in Tennessee about 8 years ago. I walked away from a 50MPH head-on with a Ford Ranger that destroyed both the truck and my bike. Never looked back and never got on another bike.
