I got a new light for Christmas called a Clipmate made by Streamlight and is it ever cool. It is an LED that is suppoed to last 110,000 hours and the batteries(std AA) are supposed to last 3 times a long and it is small. I have been working under my truck in some rather confined spaces and it work great, it will clip on a flat surface or your hat or it come with a band so you can strap it on your head.
Like the old commercial says "Try it you"ll like it".
The post by ...79blueoval "Very cool tool", Clipmate is a good one, another good light is one made by "Energizer" it has two white LED's(really has a blue tint to them) and one red one, slide sw on top above LED's, the head pivots, has a elastic headband that is adjustable puts out a lot of light comes with the batteries (3 AAA's) I have been using mine for over five months still on org. batts. The red is good for those of us that hunt , I don't know about being water proof yet. Got mine at Wally's World.
I use a fishing "headlight"... An elastic headband with a small square flashlight attached... It swivels and focus' from spot to flood... I got it at Wal-Mart for about $7.00... They make more expensive ones, but I thought this would work fine (it does)...
