Does any one still have the upper coolent pipe on their 57 to 60 still on their truck? If so could some one post a picture of it. This pipe would be made of eather copper or brass that would connect the thermostat to the radiator. Every truck I have seen has a universal upper radiator hose.
I have one somewhere in the garage and it was off a 272 1958 but its steel. I'm sure it was steel because I blasted it to use it on a 56 and its shorter that the one for the 56. I'll look for it
Mine is long gone too.
While Kevin is searching through his garage, I thought maybe I could help by searching through some of my Ford manuals and catalogs. All I came up with was this picture... https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...oid=31907&.jpg
And some info that may help from the parts catalog.

Well I tried to figure out how to post the picture with no luck! All this computer stuff looks like GREEK to me! I'll have to send it to 4speed to post.
That is a nice look, as an alternative to hose. I guess since my radiator hose attachment is to the side I am out of luck. (pic in my gallery shows my misalignment). Bummer! Good idea though, A little copper or brass would look great on a yellow Y-Block
My Father inlaw has a muffler bender, But it narrows the pipe a little where you bend it, Would this cause a flow problem? If not I could make my own, even allowing for my offset radiator. Wouldn't cost me anything to play. If it works out I'll make a few extras for anyone else who wants one. Can someone give me the length and angle of the stock one please.
