Unhappy power steering pulleys

Guys, I'm back again with a problem! Youv'e answered everything and then some. I bought a rebuilt power steering pump and after a lot of cursing and a puller, I got the pulley off the old one. Now, how do I install it(The Pulley) on the new pump? It says "Don't hammer pulley onto shaft." I love this site- there is nothing you guys don't know! I wonder if any Ford mechanics visit here and get info?

There is a special puller to remove and install power steering pump pulleys. You can rent them from parts stores or Harbor Freight has ITEM 40749-1VGA for $10.

Look in the end of the shaft and see if there is a bolt hole. Normally, a bolt and a washer (or 2) are used to pull the pulley onto the shaft.

Yeah, and she came up with it before I saw steell's reply, otherwise I would have looked a lot smarter by following his advice.
