Guys, I'm back again with a problem! Youv'e answered everything and then some. I bought a rebuilt power steering pump and after a lot of cursing and a puller, I got the pulley off the old one. Now, how do I install it(The Pulley) on the new pump? It says "Don't hammer pulley onto shaft." I love this site- there is nothing you guys don't know! I wonder if any Ford mechanics visit here and get info?
There is a special puller to remove and install power steering pump pulleys. You can rent them from parts stores or Harbor Freight has ITEM 40749-1VGA for $10.
