Why do I always read these two minutes too late? Time to go rent it. Car chases are great but I've noticed that a lot of the chases and stunts in newer movies are starting to look more like video games than reality. When all else fails I pop the old Dukes of Hazzard tape in. Yeeehaaaaw!

...because, as we all know, the Duke of Hazzard paralleled reality each week!
Just kidding, I used to love that show, too. But just like watching an episode of Happy Days recently: I asked myself, "What did I ever see in THAT show?"
But, the car chase in Ronin was good. So was Matt Damon's chase in Bourne Identity.

Have you seen the ads for "Torque?" Makes me wanna puke, it's so filled w/ computer animation. I want to see REAL car chases again. Steve McQueen, where are you when we need you?!?!?!?
I remember when Ronin came out and everyone (well, not EVERYONE, but lots of people) were crowing about the car chases and how great they were and yadda yadda yadda, but the thing is, it was car chases involving junky little Citroens and Peugeots. Wow. I also remember being bothered by how in the wrong-way scenes so many of the drivers were angrily flashing their lights at the oncoming car. Real drivers wouldn't do that--they'd crap their pants and slam into the guard rail.
A cool car chase scene is in Terminator 3. That was the best part of the entire movie...now all you need to do is turn it off right after the scene is over....
there wasnt that much aside from the couple of f-bombs here and there...i think they got the r rating cause it was all about violence and the kick-*** car chase scene...
