Car chase lovers !

Ronin is on Superstation right now.

For those who love car chases through downtown streets, this is one movie you don't want to miss while you are on-line here as well.

Why do I always read these two minutes too late? Time to go rent it. Car chases are great but I've noticed that a lot of the chases and stunts in newer movies are starting to look more like video games than reality. When all else fails I pop the old Dukes of Hazzard tape in. Yeeehaaaaw!

...because, as we all know, the Duke of Hazzard paralleled reality each week!
Just kidding, I used to love that show, too. But just like watching an episode of Happy Days recently: I asked myself, "What did I ever see in THAT show?"

But, the car chase in Ronin was good. So was Matt Damon's chase in Bourne Identity.

I remember when Ronin came out and everyone (well, not EVERYONE, but lots of people) were crowing about the car chases and how great they were and yadda yadda yadda, but the thing is, it was car chases involving junky little Citroens and Peugeots. Wow. I also remember being bothered by how in the wrong-way scenes so many of the drivers were angrily flashing their lights at the oncoming car. Real drivers wouldn't do that--they'd crap their pants and slam into the guard rail.

You better go back and watch the movis. There are some high dollar cars in some of them.

Tou can find the DVD in the bargain bin for under $10 if you look around.

That movie rocks!

A cool car chase scene is in Terminator 3. That was the best part of the entire movie...now all you need to do is turn it off right after the scene is over....

BTW: Is that tunnel chase the same tunnel that Princess Di got killed in? They look the same.

The language in Terminator 3 was so foul I did not even watch it to the end.
