89 Ranger

Hey, I just got a 89 ranger 4x2 with a V6 2.9, and I live in the midwest so we have to deal with winters, i want to know what the best advice is to get around when the weather turns bad, because not having a 4x4 can be a disadvantage, so any tips would be appreciated.

Put some weight over the rear axles. These things have a real light tail.

Sounds as though putting a little weigh in the bed will help you get better traction, some people do let a little air outta their tires too. Not me!, Also welcome to FTE hope you find all the answers to the questions you may ask, Great people willing to help is all you'll find here...
