headlight switch
I have a 98 150 4x4 super cab. my headlight switch doesnt work only for the headlights, the parking lights work when you turn the switch, but when you turn it to the headlights it doesnt work, this also makes my driving lights not to work. is the switch bad or is it something else, Ive checked all fuses and all were good. can someone help. I hate to buy a new switch if its not the problem.

If you remove the headlight switch and check for power you should have battery voltage at the Red with Yellow stripe wire coming from the switch, with the headlights turned on. If you dont then you probably need a new switch.

Since the fogs aren't working i'm guessing the switch is bad since the output from the switch feeds back from the dimmer to the fog switch to the fog relay. If the fog isn't getting the feed, the at the very least its not getting back from the dimmer switch.
