Door tag decode

Can anyone tell me what an "N" transmission code and "08" axle code are? It's for a 1965 F100 4x4. Also have a color code of 8. Springtime yellow I think?

N = New Process 435 (NP435)

08 = 3.50 Ratio 3,300 Lbs Capacity 9" rear end in a non-limited slip (WDM-B)

8 = Springtime Yellow as you mentioned.

I have a 66 F250 parts truck with an "A" code trans and "B5" axles. Pretty sure the axle is D60 4:11 limited slip. Would that trans be the same as my 65 with a 435?

Would that trans be the same as my 65 with a 435?

A = New Process 435 4 speed (TRANS code N was used in 1965 for the NP435).

B5 = Dana 60 Rear Axle / 4.56-1 / Limited Slip / 5,200 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

Dana 60 was available with 4.10-1 beginning in 1963, but none had a 4.11-1.
