My first car...49 Ford Business Man's Coupe, flathead 8, two carbs, nosed, decked, lowered, dual exhaust with glass packs, primed black. No money for paint by the time I got to that point. Did the pin striping myself.
oh a man after my own heart. 1950 here done the same way.still have the heads and intake floating around going to put them on my 53 p/up
Recently sold my 52 P/U. which I owned for 9 years. I loved the truck but don't regret selling it. The work it needed was beyond my limited skills and budget. Used the money to buy a nice 93 F-150.
1958 Edsel (any trim level) ragtop, E-475, teletouch & as many options as possible.
Another Ford factory lowrider that the 392 hemi Chryslers couldn't catch !!!

Man, what an all star list! All of these are great, not much that I can add to it. I do like all Ford trucks, my favs are the 53/56 and the 67/72 with the 73/79 right behind. Can`t forget the Ranger 1/4 tons and the big LN Hiway tractors/gravel trucks. The 65/69,87/93,`99/2005 Mustangs, the 60`s Cyclones, Falcons and Fairlanes. Just about any 50`s/60`s Fords, Mercurys big and small will be good. Doesn`t leave out too much does it?
