web brousers

I can't seem to use the search function, so I'm sure this subject has been covered.

I'm looking for a different brouser. I want to dump IE and avoid Netscape, who has found better? It will be used for taking online computer courses. My other half is a computer support tech and will be taking online courses for advancement. TIA.

I'm using Mozilla (suite) and I like it. I've heard good things about Opera also.

Whatever browser you choose (IE6 works for me), google.com is the best search engine by far.

I have tried Opera a few times and it seems to be a really good browser, however, I always migrate back to IE simply because I am used to it and all sites expect to see it. Microsoft triumphs again.

I use Opera. Its so much faster than IE, and has a smaller memory foot printer and faster load time than Mozilla.

The Webmaster and I have found things out differently, Mozilla loads and renders pages faster for me than Opera

Plus Mozilla it has a bunch of features that make my life here at FTE a lot easier. Mozilla does occasionally (about once every 6 months) render a page wrong tho but I just go over and use Opera or IE for those sites. I have all three browsers on my system.
