internet question from a computer idiot
Recently, whenever I'm online I have a situation where a new window keeps opening and then it displays "page cannot be displayed". It doesn't appear to do anything except slow down my surfing and pop up the window over whatever I'm trying to read. What is this and how do I stop it? Thanks for your help.

it is probably a pop up ad, then your server doesnt connect to their server so it says "this page cant be displayed"
i get that alot sometimes. im not sure how to stop it though
im not a computer genious in any way so i could be wrong, i just know how to turn on the computer and get on the internet, thats about it.

Do a search on the net for a program called "Spybot". It is a spyware search and destroy program. Run the program and remove the spyware.
Then search for a pop-up blocker by a company called "panicware". It is free, easy to install and stops pop-up.
