locking gas cap
I don't understand why a vehicle would be sold without a locking gas cap...
First off, not many vehicles are sold with locking gas caps I know of. Many will have latchable (real word?) fuel doors. These are in no means "lockable" all one needs to open one of these fuel doors is screwdriver or even a key. I have never seen locking gas caps offered from Ford not to mention ones that are keyed alike to the ignition. Second off, what are you worried some one is going to stealing your fuel? I can't believe anyone is going to go through the trouble but what do I know. As for vandalism - maybe?
If you are still worried get one from the parts store and deal with it. I doubt any gas cap will have a lock mechism deep enough to even use a standard Ford key. Not to mention, a two sided key type. If you did find such a cap you could take it to a locksmith and he maybe able to key it like your vehicle key. Good luck.

I haven't bought a vehicle in a *long* time, so I didn't know most vehicles don't come with a locking gas cap...
I went looking again tonight for one that latches like mine (1/8th turn or something like that) but I wasn't able to find one... Maybe I'll look online...
Thanks!
