Especially in an SS, oh man I would be in so much trouble with that car. What is the HP ratiing? If I remember right the 99 T/A Firebirds had something like 350 horses, rode in one this morning, not bad, if the SS is anything like that.........and take some of the styling cues from PHR or hot rod that added on a few new badges and stripes on a newer style camaro this month.....a great car sorry....Jimmy.....

If wishes were horses, I'd still be riding that red pony
add 2 more to the list. the 64.5 was my first car in '71. i have owned it ever since. bought the shelby in the early 90's. i have never heard the Gt 500 run. just spin the oil pump regularly. way too many idiots around here to take it out and drive it.
I'm another "had" one.
I had a 1969 Mach 1 that was a 50' car. It looked good from 50' away. I still should have kept it and restored it though. Oh well.
I had a 1972 with a 351C that was my first race car. These dont make good stock cars but it was fun to learn on and I won a few races with it
I also had a 1995 GT that I bought for $70. Some kids had stolen it, pulled out the seats, stereo and wheels and then torched it. I bought it from the insurance company and made good money selling the parts off it.
I see the relationship between stangs and trucks too. I had to vote no. I owned a 79 and 87GT, the 79 was sold for the 87, and the 87 was sold for the truck. I own a wanna-be stang. I have a 1991 Probe LX 3.0. It wont run 145 mph, but it is nimble, has front wheel drive for the snowy days, 18 Miles/Gallon and is fun to drive.
