I keep trying to convince my wife that I need to get one of those 4 door turbo-diesel 4wd Rangers imported so I can have something different, she keeps telling me to go drive mine and shut up...
hahaahah yeah thats a usual woman response....but i want one those rovers from like africa with the spare on the hood and my old lady says hell yeah when you can afford the shipping
Would be nice if Ford did what Volvo does. But since Ford are built here....
My wife's aunt went to Sweeden (or Norway), where ever it is they build the Volvos.... She spent a week long trip there driving a new Volvo (that she picked out). They paid airfare, hotel, food. She made the itenerary with travelling to see the sights etc..
Anyways, after the week long vacation, she came back and a second week later, after shipping, customs, taxes etc she had the car she drove. Cheaper than what she would have paid here with factory warranty !
I think customs also views the car as used since it has over 1,000 miles on it.
I'd go to Brazil.. w/o my wife of course. They have topless beaches Her brother, my bro-in-law, spent 6 months there. Oh the stroies !

WHA?!? One can get a mostly free vacation just to buy a Volvo?
Update: I just found this site: http://volvovacation.com/ , and it sounds too good to be true. I kind of dig those XC90's, and I definitely dig hot Swedish chicks... if only I needed a new vehicle.
Well that is the idea it was. It wasn't that site but you get the idea. I am not sure if a Volvo dealership will answer any questions about th program since they would stand losing money since you buy from the factory vs a dealership but...
4-door Ranger with a baby PSD under the hood. I absolutely guarantee that if Ford sold those in the U.S., they wouldn't be able to to keep up with production. Somebody at Ford needs to bring that truck to the U.S. I'd be in line to get one, I know that much.
