Me and my son were watching, he liked it, I think its OK,,,but did you hear that V-10 motor in that Mustang, that they were ringing-out,,oh baby did that sound good !,,,smoking up 1st gear, and ya hear him grab second, and it just lit-em-up, now we can say,,,
* ATTA-BOY-FORD,,,, SHOW US MORE LIKE THIS ! *
How about the size of that motor,,,in that car,,wooo hooo, thats what I wanna see under the hood of my F-350 !!
I didn’t know ford was that into the V10 until I saw the show last night, it was all good stuff. But, I am not crazy about the looks of the new Cobra, they are “today’s lines” but I would much rather see huge bumpy fenders like the old ones have…
I think it was a concept. Concepts are notoriously overdone. If it does get brought into production, some things are changed out of necessity (such as door handles, a gas cap, etc.) and somethings are changed to mellow out the design. Check out the pics of the '05 Mustang in Motor Trend or on the internet from the Autoshow. It underwent a decent transformation, in the front, side and back when compared to the concept it had at the Autoshow last year.
Yeah, I was disappointed with the Mustang too; I really liked the air intake holes in the hood and the glass top of the concept. And or course, neither are on the prod, I was seriously thinking about getting one to.
(Getting off topic rapidly) but I actually like the production version of the '05 Mustang better than the concept. Find a picture of a '69 Mustang, and then stack it up with a production '05. Awesome. Front, rear and sides are definately retro with a well done blend of modern styling. As soon as the truck is paid off, Sign me UP!
