Are the "late model" heavy duty 429 engines,such as in the '91 F700 series a reasonably good choice in a truck this size or are they the cheapest things they could throw in there just to get the truck to move? What about longevity,forged cranks,fuel injection and no EGR?

 

they also used the 370 in those trucks as well.
