:P Im was driving home and generally avid user of my turn signals , so all of a sudden signal just stops blinking, the indicator is lite and i could see the yellow refection on the turn signal on the car infront of me This happened on R/L sides intermitently, this A.M. they worked fine , its a 02, 250 S.D. CC, v-10.....Thank you
Generally speaking, if the indicator is on steady (no blinking), then your flasher (typically a small can shaped device, under the dash or in the fuse box area) has stoped working.
I don't think that one of the light bulbs (front or rear) might be burned out because you would have noticed the rate of flash changing (faster blink rate).
Do your emergency flasher still work? If not, is is the flasher.
I know, I know, I just can't think of the correct name of the flasher.
Some time ago, (maybe you remember my first post) the same thing happened to me. It turned out that I had water in my trailer wiring hook up. The flap that is supposed to keep water out was actually holding water in. I cured the problem by drilling a hole in the bottom of the hook up. You maye want to check this if you have a trailer harness, because I didn't figure out what the problem was right away and eventually it blew out my fuses.
