I am going to be rebuilding a 300 efi motor sometime soon and i was wandering if anyone had any suggestions. I'm looking at the comp cams 260H grind but im not sure how it will work with the efi. i want lots of lowend torque but i also want some ponies too.
I was wondering if i would need a chip burnt to go along with these mods. If i do need one i think ill probably get a 2 stage, one for 89 octane and the other for 93
I'm planning on a standard overhaul, rod, main, + cam bearings, pistons, rings, + cam with these addidtions
having the crank turned .010 on the rods and mains
having the head shaved .010, port n polished, and a 3 angle valve job
bolt down rockers replaced with 3/8 screw in studs to run 1.75 ratio chevy 250 rockers
having the block boiled, new cam bearings installed, bored .030 over, and zero decked to up the compression and create .042
optimum quench
solid metal timing set
brass freeze plugs
camshaft and lifters
distributor drive gear
oil pump
msd 6AL ignition box wit a MSD blaster 2 coil
19 #/hr injectors
adjustable fuel presure regulator
351 throttle body
any suggestions would be greatly apreciated

Sure, we can program for it, but its going to require an air/fuel graph and I'd need to know the final compression ratio as well. As to the engine build itself, check out the inline six section on this site, I'm really not familiar with inline 6 internals.
