i need to remove the gauge cluster and the plastic cover that holds the gauges in place.i un bolted all the bolts but the wiper washer **** and headlight **** prevent it from comming off all the way.can someone help me the truck is a 1975 ford f 150 supercab.
The headlight switch has a release behind the dash. Look under and you should feel it. Push it as you pull out the **** and presto. The windshield washer **** should just come off (I think any way...but it is late) Sorry can't help with that.
You may have to use something to push the clip (just behind the ****) towards you as you pull the **** off.
If you reach up under the dash, you should feel a small button in top of the headlight switch. Push it down and wiggle the **** around and the ****/shaft should pull out.
Just a note, your headlights will be on unless you either reinstall the **** or unhook the battery.
