Fender Tag Question

I have a 1973 F250 Camper Special.

Fender Tag Reads:

F250YRR06607 11-355

YX I33 BDY 4 WDE

RM COMB MLD RNG RKR

A C Y E M J MID AFT

I cannot find a website that has the option codes listed.

Please help by either posting where the information is located or listing the options these codes correspond to.

Thanks,

Chris

F250YRR06607 11-355

YX I33 BDY 4 WDE

RM COMB MLD RNG RKR

A C Y E M J MID AFT

THis is called a Buck Tag for the assembly line.

Except for an extra digit ( a 0)
The Vin# is straight forward.

F25 = F-250

0 = N/A

Y = engine = 360

R = Plant where built = San Jose truck plant

R06607 = Consecutive built number

11-355

YX - Vehicle Color - Jade Green / with Tan panels ?

I33 = wheelbase= 133"

BDY 4 = Conventional (or Styleside)

WDE = Axle required

RM

COMB

MLD - Race Track Mouldings ?

RNG

RKR

A C Y E M J

MID AFT = Dual Tanks Mid-ship & Aft (Rear tank)?

Thanks for the help Mil1ion.

The truck color is brown-white-brown.
It has the Ranger package, slide out spare tire, tool box located on passenger side of bed, cargo light, AC, western mirrors, chrome moldings all over, main fuel tank in rear, auxillary tank mid-ship, and AM radio.

Do you know of any web sites which contain the tag information?

Thanks for the help.

Chris

No were are the closest to the topic.

We still might have some old retired Ford guys here on FTE.

I've have the advantage of having old build sheets plus,I bought my truck Brand new ,my Buck tage are still intact.

I see I was way off on the color,This is one problem for us decipher'ers. Ford used Letter's and Numbers all over the place.

Unless you have the special de-coder one has to try and guess.

I usually answer with a ?.

Most options or group options are letters.

I see now that RNR is probably the Ranger.

Comb would be a combo package of say the toolbox - Spare Tire option.

Have you ever seen the Option package list ?

I have never seen the option package list.

Unfortunately, I do not have the build sheet.

I went down to the local Ford dealership and they gave me a 1 foot thick book to look through for the 73-79 trucks, but that did not have the option codes, only VIN information and part numbers.

I appreciate the help.

Chris

I posted a picture of the truck in my gallery if that helps...

You can tell that dealership I'll take that book off their hands ?
