Leaking fuel line

I have noticed that the front high pressure jumper fuel line (short rubber braided line with special connector at the lower front of engine) on my 95 PSD is leaking...... The manual says always use the correct OEM part when replacing these lines. However many of the fuel line mods that I read on are changing these lines to the black rubber fuel hoses with hose clamps to prevent air from entering the fuel systems............ The question is should I replace the lines with the factory replacement part or can I use the black rubber fuel lines with hose clamps to replace both jumper lines (high pressure and return line). what are the pros and cons ??
