replace bearings

Well my oil pressure is goin down the shoot just wnat some input thinking of just replacing the oil pump and bearings rather than rebuilding the whole thing. You guys think that would be good or do a complete rebuild. The engine does not use any oil and I just put a new cam in it. It runs good and strong still but want to fix the problem before it causes more trouble internally.

Do a compression test, and if all are equal, or within about 15 lbs of each other. If they all check out, replace bearings and oil pump, button it up, do synthetic oil, and on down the road you go.

Like brandon says, just use a HV oil pump to make up for the wear in the cam bearings and other areas. A HV pump puts out about 20% more oil per revolution than a std pump. That is VOLUME not pressure.
