Headlight info and question

What headlight brand, style, color do U run??

I run the Sylvania Cool Blues on my 78 and are insane brighter then the stock bulbs. Gives a small blue tint.

I want to upgrade to these:

http://www.sylvania.com/auto/silverstar.htm

Sylvania makes Silverstar bulbs in square and round for our trucks.

Light is pure white and a GREAT upgrade over stock !

Peace and Happy New Year !!

I upgraded to the silverstars a couple months ago, they are a lot better than standard halogens, definitely worth the price. I will be putting them in all my vehicles soon. I tried the cool blues before too, they were better than the regular lights, but they didn't shine to bright in the rain though, they didn't illuminate the road as I had hoped, but the silverstars work good when the road is wet.

Blue headlights tend to **** people and the law off.

Cool Blue's have a nice blue tint are are way brighter then stock, but not annoying.

Never seen clear turn signal lens for our trucks.

A few years ago I seen the clear Signal Lights for the 78/9s But have not seen them since and I have been looking. I could kick myself for not getting them then.

Juest replaced my Headlights today!

Went to NAPA and got their Bright White Xenon headlights. Way better than the dim yellowy lights that it had before. Anyone else like Xenon bulbs?

Lets all be a little more civil if you please with our replies. We are here to help each other.

While you could run clear turn signal lenses if you find them the bulbs must still be amber in order to comply with the law. Some states have some rather severe penalties for showing a flashing blue or red light to the front.

Yeah I guess so. I have a 75 grille on my truck though, with the 77 orange lenses.

In California you can have blue.. its you cant flash red bulbs.. I want to try and find blue headlights and blue signals for the front end. I eventually want to also find a roll bar for the 78-79 so i can mount lights.. any place i can find them?
