C-6 application
I have an '''81 F-150 4x4 with a tiredout '76 400m and a C-6 trans. I have avalibale to me an '85 fuel injected 302.I've searched thru this site but know where does it tell me weather or not the 302 will bolt to my C-6, and weather or not I can keep my brand new torque from the 400.Thanks for the help. Pat

Your C-6 will not bolt to the 302 - the bell housing has a different bolt pattern. You can find a 302 bolt pattern C6 and then transplant your torque converter to that. The bell housing is integral to the transmission on the C6.
