Could be. Only problem is that in my neck of the woods all the trucks look nearly the same... rusted out. All the trim and chrome won't help the looks much and the rear bumper??? that thing keeps falling apart every time I hit a pathole... that's how rusted it is...

Explorer package is nice though...

Mil1ion,
My Explorer was missing it's hood ornament when I got my truck, any chance you have a pic of one, and/or know where I can get one, it has the chrome mounting base, but no ornament.

I sold my last one in 2002.

Every one in a while they come along at the wreckers.

Yeah, my ornament is missing, too. Has anyone seen or used something other than the original Explorer ornament? Thankfully, I still have my rear Explorer emblems.

I'm missing all Explorer emblems and hood ornament... bummer... some might show-up on ebaY... the best place lately to get rid of stolen goods...

Mil1on....About the hood ornament....my '73 Explorer has no hood ornament and never had a hood ornament. My truck is all original. I'm the 2nd owner, grandfathers pampered truck previously. Is this a later production thing? I would like to see the picture though. Thanks.
