COIL SPRUNG 4X4 S/D?
At a red light the other day, a S/D pulls up next to me and I noticed it had coil springs in the front. It was lifted maybe 4", and the springs looked aftermarket obviously, but the buckets looked factory. Did S/D's ever come with coil springs? I thought all 4x4's came with leaf springs.

Conversion?!?

Maybe an SD body on an older frame?!?

SD's never came with coils, as far as I know (except 2wd).

You sure it was a 4x4 and not a lifted 2wd truck?

I'd bet money that's what it was.The good "old" Twin I Beam suspension.

Maybe it was a two wheel drive. I did not get that close a look. If it was, it sure did look good, though!
