Question

Speaker Sizes

I WANT TO PUT NEW SPEAKERS IN MY EXPLORER BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT SIZES MY SPEAKERS ARE IN ALL THE DOORS. ITS A 1997 EXPLORER XLT.
-ALSO CAN I HOOK UP MY FACTORY DISC CHANGER TO MY AFTER MARKET CD PLAYER???? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

The correct speaker size is 6x8. Some stores will tell you that the size is 5x7, but that is incorrect. A 5x7 will fit but it requires an adaper to make it fit the 6x8 hole.

and if the store tells you that a 6x9 will fix you will have to fabicate it to work that is what i had to do i my x
