My new truck is to be delivered within a month and I am starting to pick up accessories it. I am looking to upgrade the factory speakers but I can't find the speakers sizes anywhere online. I am also trying to figure out if it is just the four door speakers or if there is a fifth center channel speaker as well. Thanks in advance.

 

Yes, there is also a center dash speaker, and two little tweeters in the front A piller. The speakers in the doors are covered by the whole door panel. So one would have to take the panels off completely.

 

Use Crutchfield's fitment guide for the 2015-2017 F150 since it's the identical cab. Center dash is 3.5". Front doors are 6X9". Rear doors are 5 1/4" but the opening is big enough for many 6.5's.

 

In our 2017 F350 SuperCab, we installed 6.5s front and back. In front, 6.5 separates, with the mains in the door and tweeters in the pillar. 6.5 coaxials in the rear. These are driven by a 320w 4-channel amp. Left the factory center speaker connected to the integration unit, so it gets a low-power signal for fill. Amazing soundstage.
