I've got a 1 ton Dually and this thing rides better than my buddies F-150 and there both the same year. I agree with HPH... some sand bags in the bed will give a little less jolt.
Last truck was a F250 Light duty, looked like a half ton, it had factory air bags in the back, rode like a catty. Liked that setup a lot, automatically leveled the truck when you put a load in it. All the weight in that system rested on the air bags, had two leafs to keep the axle in line. Have been thinking about doing a similar setup on my 350 as well, Firestone makes bags that are rated to cary 5000lbs per set.
