Question Brake Lights!

I need some advice. I have a 1977 full size pickup, 460 ci engine. My driver rear brake light is out. The bulb is fine. I have checked the incoming power (green wire) from the front and have found that I have power over to the passenger side brake light, but none on the driver side. I have looked at the Chilton diagrams, but can't exactly understand what they are telling me. Can anyone give me a clue as to where the power for the brake light on the driver rear side should come from and where to look?

Thanks All!

The power goes from the brake light switch to the turnsignal switch. That is where it is split into two different wires. The turnsignal switch co-ordinates the power from the flasher and the brake light switch, since the rear brake lights and the rear turn lights are the same filament in the bulb. So looks like you need to tear the column apart a little bit and check the wiring there. Could be the turn switch is bad too.

I just replaced the turn signal switch in the column, you think it might be there? What color wire from the switch goes out to the rear of the truck to the taillight?
